A girl was climbing in Pebble Seashore, a group on Monterey Peninsula in Monterey County, California, when she lived a nightmare. A random man began following her as she hiked, then he held her at gunpoint as he tied her to a tree and left. One other hiker discovered the sufferer two hours later and helped get her free, alongside one other passerby who occurred upon the scene.
The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office shared the disturbing story on its social media pages earlier this week. In addition to tying her to a tree at gunpoint, the suspect didn’t injure, assault, or rob the hiker.
The Sheriff’s Workplace describes the suspect as “a Hispanic male grownup in his 30’s, sporting a inexperienced hat and gray sweater. He has a tattoo on the suitable aspect of his neck with a phrase that begins with the letter ‘Z.’” As of this writing, police are still searching for the suspect and any potential witnesses.
