A “bolt from the blue” scared the daylights out of a few lions on the MalaMala Game Reserve in South Africa, and a safari guide caught the uncommon second on video. Sport ranger Gabriel Harmer was there filming when lightning struck within the evening’s sky above the reserve and scared two male lions, which leap up on the growth and electric-blue flash.
“Time to move again to camp!” Harmer wrote in his caption sharing the video on Instagram. “It’s been attention-grabbing with the large electrical storms we’ve been experiencing! Shoutout to the visitors for being so affected person with me as we bought to expertise this!”
MalaMala Sport Reserve then shared Harmer’s video, and it attracted a number of consideration on-line. It seems even the kings of the animal kingdom get scared at occasions.
