Pacific Crest Trail Hiker Clings to Cliffside as She Waits for Rescue


A hiker on the Pacific Crest Path (PCT) clung to the facet of a steep cliff for over an hour as she waited for rescue. The hiker was within the Whitewater space of the PCT when discovered herself caught on the cliff and used her emergency-communications gadget to name for support. In the meantime, she held on for expensive life and tried to maintain her footing. By the point the rescue helicopter arrived, the girl’s legs and arms have been visibly shaking from the trouble of holding on (and certain additionally from the adrenaline).
