On Thursday morning on the Yamagata Airport in Higashine, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan, an employee spotted a black bear close to the runway. Native information reported the bear to be about 4 toes (1.2 meters) tall. After the worker noticed the bear, it disappeared, inflicting airport officers to shut the runway.
CNN posted a video of the runway ruckus on social media, writing: “A virtually 4-foot bear triggered main disruption at Japan’s Yamagata Airport on Thursday morning, wandering onto the runway and grounding 10 flights to and from main cities like Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo, and Nagoya.”

The footage reveals the bear working round on a paved floor as autos drive close by. It’s not clear whether or not the autos have been a part of the trouble to divert the bear or not.
