Seattle Ice-Hockey Mascot Nearly Attacked by Grizzly Bear


Whereas fly fishing in Alaska’s Katmai Nationwide Park, Seattle Kraken ice-hockey participant John Hayden and the Kraken’s mascot, Buoy, had a scary encounter with a grizzly bear. At one level, the bear ran by means of the stream towards the hockey mascot because the group was attempting to maneuver away. Fortunately, the bear misplaced curiosity.

“A brown bear startled a Seattle Kraken mascot and others throughout a fly fishing outing in Alaska’s Katmai Nationwide Park on June 25, in accordance with a video launched by the staff,” wrote KIRO 7 News. “The video reveals Buoy, the Kraken’s mascot, rapidly retreating because the bear rushes towards the group at Brooks Falls, a preferred location for bear viewing in Katmai. No accidents have been reported, and the encounter ended with out incident.”
