Kayaker’s Startlingly Close Encounter With Killer Whales (Video)


A kayaker in Alaska’s Resurrection Bay had an in depth encounter with two killer whales once they approached him . . . after which practically ran proper into him. Taylor Cline observed the animals and commenced recording. They surfaced a brief distance away and seemed to be heading straight towards him once they dove once more and disappeared. A number of tense seconds later, he movies one orca passing behind him. Then, the opposite orca surfaces proper in entrance of him, diving on the final second to keep away from colliding along with his kayak.

“Shut encounter with Killer Whales on the outskirts of Resurrection Bay,” Cline wrote in his Instagram submit sharing the video. “Quantity warning* you may hear me practically have a coronary heart assault.”

Of us within the feedback part appear to agree that the orca knew precisely what it was doing.

“That was a really purposeful move! Completely checking you out,” wrote one individual. “Some Orcas actually appear to thrill in making individuals squeal too. Now we have one male specifically within the Puget Sound who’s identified for interacting with individuals to get a response out of them.”

“I believe it was messing with you, only a tad,” wrote one other.
