Allie Schawe was mountaineering in Glacier Nationwide Park when, out of the blue, she noticed a grizzly bear developing the path behind her. Because the path was slender, with a drop on one aspect and a mountain on the opposite aspect, she had nowhere to go besides up towards the mountain. She did her finest to present the bear area to move. All of the sudden, one other grizzly bear joined the celebration.
“Hello all! I needed to share a video of a latest grizzly encounter I had whereas at Glacier Nationwide Park,” Schawe shared in a submit to a Fb group known as Glacier National Park Montana. “I had nowhere to retreat to, so I stood again within the rocks and allow them to move by. Don’t fear, bear spray was locked and loaded within the different hand!”

Throughout this tense encounter, Schawe’s fiancé, who was a brief manner up the path, saved calling on the walkie talkie. However Schawe had all of her consideration on the bears, which have been undoubtedly concerned with her however weren’t appearing aggressively.
