They’re one of many rarest wild cats in the Americas and one of the crucial endangered felines on this planet. Path-cam footage of an Andean wild cat mother and her kitten from the nonprofit group Big Cat Rescue showcases this lovely species—one hardly any people get to see within the wild.

“After three years of monitoring these elusive Andean wild cats, nature gifted us this lovely footage—an inspiring reminder of why we proceed working for his or her conservation,” wrote Massive Cat Rescue in a YouTube publish sharing the footage. “Don’t miss the kitten!”
