Final weekend, search-and-rescue crews airlifted two hikers and their canines from a snowy peak in Clark County, Nevada. In a social media submit sharing footage of the rescue, LVMPD Search and Rescue says the hikers grew to become misplaced and referred to as for assist after darkish. Fortunately, there have been no accidents, and the hikers had “applicable clothes and equipment” for each them and the canines.

“On Saturday December twentieth, 2025, round 7pm, SAR personnel aboard AIR1 performed a rescue operation on North Loop Path on Mt Charleston,” shared LVMPD Search and Rescue within the submit. “Two hikers got down to Mummy Mountain with their two canines once they received off path close to Mummy Springs. They misplaced the day mild and referred to as 911 as soon as they have been unable to relocate the path. [. . .] SR7 and SR9 packaged each victims in helitack hotseats.
