A gaggle of individuals taking a New 12 months’s Day hike in Colorado noticed a mountain lion close to an individual mendacity on the bottom. After throwing rocks to scare away the animal, they discovered the girl was useless. Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) officials suspect a mountain lion fatally attacked the solo hiker, making this the primary lethal mountain-lion assault within the state since 1999.

Local news reports CPW officers searched the realm and located two mountain lions, after which they euthanized each animals. The animals shall be examined for human DNA.
The incident occurred on the Crosier Mountain Trail outdoors of Glen Haven, Colorado. There isn’t a details about the sufferer at the moment.
