
Greg Joder of Tucson, Arizona captured an uncommon second on a path cam—a screech owl dive bombing a raccoon, presumably in an act of revenge. Joder shared the footage on Instagram and YouTube, explaining that the raccoon on the watering gap had beforehand tried to interrupt into the owl’s home.

“The screech owls have been nonetheless upset,” Joder wrote in his Instagram caption. He calls it a “comical scene.”
The second itself occurs so shortly, you’ll miss it should you blink on the improper time. Fortunately, Joder slows the footage down for a replay after it first performs in realtime. Maybe the ethical of this story is that screech owls could also be tiny, however they clearly don’t fiddle.
