A sheriff’s deputy in Volusia County, Florida had a shock whereas strolling via the woods at night time with a Okay-9 unit named Gator. Although searching for a suspect, the deputy and police canine got here throughout a bear as an alternative. Footage from the deputy’s physique digital camera paired with aerial footage from a helicopter exhibits the entire scene unfold.
Volusia Sheriff’s Office posted the footage to Fb, calling it “GATOR VS. BEAR.”

Local news reports that the deputy and Gator have been trying to find a person named Jose Murietta who is needed within the space for assaulting somebody over a debt owed.
Although the pair was in a wooded space, they weren’t too removed from civilization. They have been looking some woods close to the Orlandia Heights subdivision in Debary. The deputy clearly didn’t count on to come back throughout a bear, since the very first thing she mentioned was “Holy [inaudible], that’s a bear!”
