
Video footage of a “ghost” cat provides a uncommon glimpse of a wild snow leopard up shut. A traveler with Natural Habitat Adventures named Tibor Polgar captured the video, which reveals a snow leopard leaping from a vertical rock face within the Himalayas.
Snow leopards’ nickname is the “ghost of the mountains” thanks to those animals’ spectacular pure camouflage. “Snow leopards have advanced to dwell in among the harshest situations on Earth,” WWF says. “Their thick white-gray coat noticed with massive black rosettes blends in completely with Asia’s steep and rocky, excessive mountains.”

Pure Habitat Adventures shared Polgar’s video to Instagram, referred to as it “really extraordinary.”
“These elusive massive cats are generally known as ‘ghosts of the mountains’ for good cause—sightings are extremely uncommon, and to witness one within the wild is the final word wildlife encounter,” the corporate wrote in its Instagram caption.
Different folks share the corporate’s pleasure in regards to the footage.
“What a fortunate expertise! Wow,” wrote one individual within the feedback part.
At one level within the video, the “ghost” even locks eyes with the digicam. It then provides the digicam an eerily direct stare earlier than transferring on.
