The Nationwide Park Service (NPS) lately bestowed honors on Saguaro National Park and its philanthropic accomplice group, Buddies of Saguaro Nationwide Park, bestowing the organizations with 2025 Excellence in Wilderness Stewardship Awards. The awards acknowledge each groups’ efforts in supporting important work within the Arizona park over the previous 12 months.
“The Excellence in Wilderness Stewardship Awards are the company’s annual recognition of excellent contributions to wilderness stewardship by a person, staff, and exterior accomplice,” NPS says in its press release. “This 12 months’s nationwide Group Award was given to the Saguaro Nationwide Park Trails Program for his or her work in sustaining and enhancing trails within the park’s excessive elevation wilderness.”
