The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) shared a trail-cam video displaying a uncommon sight—a wild tigress and 5 cubs. WWF says having 5 cubs is “exceptionally uncommon,” and it’s a good signal for this species within the area.
“For the primary time ever, a tigress and 5 cubs have been filmed by digital camera traps in China,” wrote WWF in an Instagram put up sharing the footage. “Wild tigers usually give delivery to 1 to 4 cubs, so 5 cubs are an exceptionally uncommon prevalence even in areas with ample prey.”
