Even individuals who dive with sharks say you shouldn’t mess with a triggerfish. Factor is, this diver wasn’t messing with any fish; he was simply there. A viral video reveals the second the triggerfish activates and assaults the diver, seemingly out of nowhere.
Fortunately, the diver’s masks and gear appear to have protected his pores and skin from the fish’s formidable tooth, which it makes use of to crush its hard-shelled prey. The triggerfish doesn’t pursue the diver; it simply goes for the person’s face after which returns to grazing, leaving the diver shocked and disoriented.
The TikTok account DIVEwithNicki&Jason shared the footage, which has over 4.4 million views to this point. There isn’t a motive to consider the diver wasn’t retaining a respectful distance. In actual fact, although he was technically swimming towards the fish, in the intervening time of the assault, the diver was trying the opposite means, suggesting he was simply taking within the scene and never attempting to get near the triggerfish.

“Bro, I dive with sharks like they’re marshmallows; these [. . .] I avoid,” wrote one particular person within the feedback part. “They eat coral!! Which means they’ll choose a bit off your face prefer it’s product of cake.”
“I feel dude simply yelled at you to get off his garden,” joked one other particular person.
